Michał Fetler

Bass and baritone saxophonist. Classically educated musician, a graduate of the Academy of Music in Poznań, in the class of prof. Bernard Steuer. Composer and producer, creator of various musical projects with particular emphasis on avant-garde music, experimental jazz, brass bands and the deconstruction of folk music.

Founder of the bands Polmuz and Fanfara Awantura, member of the Jazzband Młynarski-Masecki. In addition, he collaborated, inter alia, with Król, Piernikowski, Ben Frost, Wacław Zimpl, Kuba Więcek, Gabriela Kulka, Mitch and Mitch. He comes from Mysłowice, has been associated with Poznań since 2002 and currently he divides his artistic activity between Masovia, Greater Poland and Upper Silesia.

Since 2010 he has been running the neofolk wind orchestra Fanfara Awantura, which performs Balkan music, and this year he recorded the album Prawdziwie Polskie Techno, containing original arrangements of Polish folk melodies from south-eastern Poland. He also performs in the Polonaise orchestra of Marcin Masecki, and in 2016 he recorded his debut album with the mining orchestra Katowice KWK Kleofas.
