ŚWIATŁODŹWIĘKI 2023 in the eight edition of this festival dedicated entirely to audiovisual art, bringing attention to it as a standalone artform, and not a derivative, peripheral form stemming from either music or visual art. Therefore, it aims to invite artists who, either in collaboration with other festival artists or solo, will present concerts, performances and installations that fuse the musical and visual arts into one integral, aesthetic experience.
The first day of the festival will host a novel experiment ŚWIATŁODŹWIĘKI Junior, aimed at cultivating a new generation of demanding, discerning and determined consumers of contemporary art.
The second day of the festival will include engaging artists talks, incredible concerts and the trademark audiovisual jam session, featuring artists of such stature as Dr. Truna, Maike Zimerman, Anastasija Delidova, Michał Fetler as well as a completely unique appearance of the joṙi, drums played in Poland for the first time, by Nihal Singh. The concerts will include collaborative performances curated especially for the festival by the organizers, as well as a solo set.
